Materials

Only the best quality materials were chosen and finished with the utmost care. The wonderful lattice windows and French windows were made from distortion-free, extremely robust solid mahogany wood in Austria taking into account the Andalusian climate and then installed in Spain. The fittings were supplied by P. Bisschop, Germany and Bonomi, Italy. The bathroom ceramics are from Villeroy & Boch (Philipp Starck) and the fittings are from the exclusive brand Dornbracht.

A special colour and lighting concept was designed to create tranquillity and elegance indoors. The sophisticated light sources in Italian design allow the rooms to shine in their subtle mineral colours in a soothing light. Three lovingly coordinated natural stones, worked and processed specially for floors and bathrooms, contribute considerably to the overall impression. To create an even more harmonious ambience, the stone used indoors is continued throughout the entire outdoor area.

Excellent quality iroko wood is used in the ceiling of the 7 m high hall and underneath the outdoor roofs. Solid tropical wood was chosen for the floors in the bedroom and fitness areas, which is second to none in colour and workmanship.

The stucco work on the ceilings indoors and the many details on the outdoor façade were produced by the best traditional trade guild in Andalusia. All the cabinetwork in the house and the extravagant solid 2.6 m high internal doors were mass produced in Austria and installed by Austrian craftspeople.
