Structural design

The building was planned and built according to German standards. The building stands on a solid rock and consists of a basement, ground floor and upper floor. The concrete foundation supports the whole building's reinforced concrete skeleton with solid concrete ceilings. The two-shell design of the external walls with additional insulation provides a pleasant indoor climate both in the summer and winter. The roof is covered with antique monk and nun tiles that are typical of Andalusia.

The architect's influence can easily be seen in the many structural details on the façade, columns, cornices and chimneys.

The villa is enclosed by solid mahogany wood windows and French sliding doors made in Austria. The latter disappear into the walls when you open them so that the garden merges with the indoors.
